Wow – a whole year of Turtle Tarot Emporium at Viables! I can hardly believe it. As a small, family-run business, we appreciate every single one of you who’s walked through our door. Over the past 12 months, we’ve made incredible connections, met amazing new friends, and shared in a community that’s grown far beyond what we ever imagined.

All of us have grown—not just as business owners, but spiritually too. It’s been a year filled with laughs, tears, crystals, and magic, alongside new experiences and bold ventures (big news coming soon… hehe 👀).

Let’s be real—small businesses have had it rough over the last few years. And if we’re being completely honest, Mum and I were worried. It was a huge leap, going from purely online to opening a physical shop. It felt like a hair-brained idea at the time… but we did it! And now, here we are: one year on and still thriving.

Mum has turned into a walking crystal encyclopedia (no complaints there!), and Dad is still out here enthusiastically chatting to anyone who’ll listen! I’m honestly so grateful to every single one of you who’s supported us, believed in us, and helped turn my dream into reality. This journey has brought us even closer as a family, and that’s the most magical thing of all.

This year also saw me offering more workshops than ever before, and I’ve had the pleasure of teaching some truly wonderful students. I hope you’ve enjoyed them as much as I’ve loved running them. I also reopened my tarot bookings after a bit of a confidence wobble—and thanks to all your uplifting words and encouragement, I found my way back.

To my sister: YES, you can have the raw crystal you’ve been eyeing up! 😂 Thank you for being such a joy to work with—your hard work hasn’t gone unnoticed, and our customers adore you just as much as I do.

To Cam: your mural is officially one year old and… you still haven’t printed any postcards!! But thank you for putting up with me stressing about crystals and learning alongside me every single day.

And to Mum and Dad—thank you for backing me when I said I wanted to sell crystals at 19. You’ve been my biggest cheerleaders for the past six years, and I wouldn’t be where I am without your love, time, and investment (in every sense of the word). Thank you for still coming to markets and events with me at 7am on freezing Sunday mornings—love you both so much.
